This course guides you step by step through the process of training your own dog to become a certified service dog. The Service Dog Program begins with foundational obedience training and gradually introduces mobility tasks such as retrieving objects, opening and closing doors, standing on two legs, pushing a cart, and more.
Designed to be clear and beginner-friendly, the program breaks down each task and lesson into manageable steps—ideal for individuals and dogs with no previous training experience. Throughout the course, a dedicated trainer will be assigned to support and ensure effective learning for both the handler and their dog.
At the end of each training module, our instructor team will evaluate your progress through online assignments. Handlers will also be asked to submit photos and videos of their dogs demonstrating specific skills and appropriate public behavior. These submissions are required for final certification and to confirm the dog’s readiness to work in public settings.
